Floral anchors don't work very well.
I had a mini artistic epiphany today. I've always felt very limited with watercolors because I love drawing intricate lines and found that difficult to do. So today I decided to experiment! I dipped my ink pen in some watercolor and tried drawing with it. It actually worked really well and we able to make the thin lines that I love so much! Can't wait to draw some birdies! So excited!!

i have a question! when you make prints, how do you do it? that may be a odd question, but are they photo copies? id love to know
I scan my pieces in a high resolution then I get them printed at a photo printer
thanks for your response! so if something is too big to fit in the scanner, do you take a hq photograph of it? also, do you have a reccomendation for a photo printer in san diego?
If it doesn't fit in a scanner, I usually will scan several parts of the piece then put them all together in Photoshop. It can be a hassle, but it's worth it, scans definitely make the highest quality files for prints. As for printers in San Diego, I'm not sure, I would just check online.
What an ingenious idea...It looks lovely :3
I think it the floral patterns are lovely!!!! >__< I can imagine it on vest tops for the nautical trend~ I really love the pink and brown tones in the top loop of the anchor... feels so delicate~!
I must disagree that floral anchors don't work well, I think the flower anchor worked beautifully. Great idea to dip the ink pen in the watercolours too, it looks fantastic!
but flowers aren't heavy enough to weigh a boat down! they don't work :(
Oh I see! But at least they'll make the ocean look prettier :)
hello, i was just wondering when you mentioned that you use an ink pen, can you direct me to which one you are using? i've been trying to hard to get that intricate line with my bamboo but it's nowhere near as good as i want it to be.
this anchor is adorable! id just like to let you know that im getting it as a tattoo
