Flower Boat

Boat!

Kitten paws! He's taken a liking to sleeping on laptops, and sometimes my artwork. The other day we come home and lil Finnegan had typed a message to my friend and Neil Young was playing on iTunes. What a keeper.
Have a lovely week my beauties!

Love,
Charmaine

Flower Anchor

Floral anchors don't work very well.

I had a mini artistic epiphany today. I've always felt very limited with watercolors because I love drawing intricate lines and found that difficult to do. So today I decided to experiment! I dipped my ink pen in some watercolor and tried drawing with it. It actually worked really well and we able to make the thin lines that I love so much! Can't wait to draw some birdies! So excited!!

dino

detail

Little ferocious dino. A commission for a wedding gift.
Acrylic paint, india ink & micron pens.

Now I'm off to the post office to mail it!

It's raining today in San Francisco, as it usually does in winter. Joe's foot is doing a lot better! He still can't walk, but it seems to be healing well.

Are you excited for winter? I am :)

Work in Progress

My show at 666 Gallery is coming up soon, here is a preview of one of the pieces I'm working on for the show.

Another Deer Wearing Gym Socks!

It's mostly done, I just need something more in the top portion of the piece. I sold my original illustration, so I'm doing a new one with the same concept, but in a different style. Hooray for triangles!
Acrylic paint and Indian Ink on the deer. The grass is gouache.
